Still getting used to that vector tool. >_< Gaw. It's insane! It's 5 in the morning, and damn! GOD! I actually tried hard on this! My first actual fake screen shot and now I realize how much of a bastard it is! DANG! Also, since I didn't want to do the long process of making a vector lineart in photoshop I went into Fireworks MX and did the lineart with the vector brush tool. Kinda rough around the edges- but it got the jov done in half the time it would of taken me to vector it in photoshop. GOD! making a decent screen shot is HARD! -proudness though-
I'll explain the scene later...

Jov well done! (you has typo) It prolly doesn't mean much coming from me, and since ALL artists down their art because it's not perfect in their eyes, but I think your screenie is KICK ASS! I know nothing of this so called "vector" tool, but I'm sure it does a spiffy job... maybe I should actually look at some PS tutorials =/
Also, if this is one of yer entries for the contest, you should put a link to it, and let =Spiralchasm know (if you haven't arready)

In the background is Dantia (red hat) and Moko (feathery one). They're spying on their conversation and it's when Moko realizes his master is going to die.
And all of that shall be relieved when I make the character sheets. (I already have- but there's no drawings for them yet. Just text. D

Not too sure if I want to enter this into the contest. (We have a year before the deadline) And the contest host seems to be really into beasts. X.X Vectoring is a butt. It's fun but at the same time it's long winded (for me anyway)... And photoshop doesn't exactly have a vectoring tool like Adobe Illustrator or Fireworks/Flash... It's like Guy said, it's shapes and not pixles, so in photoshop you have to use the pen tool to make shapes and stuff. I have some photoshop tutorials in my faves if you wanna check them out. I found them really helpful.

I have PS elements, so there's no pen tool =/ And most the tutorials I actually do find and start to like aren't for Elements -__-; But yeah, I'm thinking of entering... I wonder if I can ask her for a joint project... if so, you wanna do a colab? Since my shop skills kinda suck compared to yers... I'm prolly gonna use Jank, Ciro, and/or Sizzaw for my entries.

And Elements isn't too bad. >.< I'm still getting used to the pen too. It's a LOT harder than it appears to be. With anchors and curves and stuff. X.X Takes a lot time too- it makes me wonder how Mika finished hers at Watkin's so fast. Well, I dunno if it was finish or not- but she got further than I did. My computer kept crashing. XD
